watts link bracket
I'm currently into some suspension upgrades to my '84 RX7. In removing the watts link bracket, I snapped one of the #@%$!#% studs. Are there replacement studs for the bracket available or should I dig deeper to replace the bracket.

I've been able to find pretty much anything I need in the way of replacement bolts / studs / screws / fasteners for my 7, an '82 BMW that my son and I restored, and a '66 Mustang that we're working on at our local "bolt" store. Just need to have one like you need, or know the size and threads/inch, etc.

It's up to you, but mazdatrix sells a replacement bracket that puts the stud in double sheer (depends one what you use your car for, or else, I'd just go to the wrecking yard to pick one up.

I broke the center stud on the bracket and i had a hard time finding the right bolt. I work at a hardware store with a huge selection of sae and metric, i couldn't find anything that had the correct shank length for the inside bushing to ride on. Either i was going to have to accomodate with extra washers, or have the bushing ride on some bolt thread. I spose either or would have been fine, and there were strong grades of bolt to choose from, but i opted to replace the whole bracket.
It was also my DD at the time and Rx7carl overnighted me the bracket. He sent it to me before i even paid him, talk about comradery, i couldn't thank him enough.
