Watt Link Bracket
So in the process or pulling down my rear end, i ended up snapping off the nut holding the lower watt link to the bracket. (the one you can't get an impact on) So i pulled the bracket off and put it on the vise and gave the bolt and couple good whacks with the hammer and it popped out.
So my question to you is, can i just place a bolt in place with the correct length and thread pitch and tack it in place, or no? When i popped it out with the hammer i see on the underside of the bolt that it was spotwelded in 3 spots to the bracket. Does this prevent it from spinning or what? Any advice would be appreciated.

Its funny you should mention that stud, cause I broke it as well last summer, for the same reason. Anyway, i had a spare, so I can't say for sure, but you should be able to use a bolt, but it probably is grade 5 at least. Most of the hardware on teh suspension is at least that, most of it grade 8, some even 10. It might be easier to find someone with a spare and give them a few bucks for it. HTH
