Water Temperature Sensor...

I changed out my starter, yesterday, and must have pulled the water temp send unit wire away from my (1981 12A) engine while messing. Haynes Manual says that the sensor is near the oil filler neck. I don't see it, but I need to find it and connect back. I need to monitor my temp. Can anyone tell me where the water temp send is? Thanks.

just under the oil filter pedistal. maybe an inch or so down from the bottom of the pedistal. kinda to the left of center. Its a male bullet connector just sticking out of the side of the engine. If that dont help I can get a picture later.

Kinda like Isla de Muerta in Pirates of the Caribbean...

Try the search button. There is at least one earlier thread with a map and pics of it.
