water pump woes

I'm trying to remove the water pump off of a 12A. I have all of the bolts off and when I try to pry it out of the front housing, the alternator moves with it. Did I take out too many bolts? Is my whole front housing going to come off instead?

Also, the rivet that holds the top fan shroud to the rad has broken off and has left a tiny hole. Can I get away with just putting a screw or bolt in there?

I got the pump out. I'm still wondering about the rad though. I assume that I would have to use a brass screw so that it didn't react with the rad. Any thoughts?

Radiator shop. Ask the guy to sweat a penny onto the hole.

I fixed the very same type hole in my radiator by using MAP gas and some high temp solder. MAP gas is in a bottle like a propane torch bottle. It gets really hot. I bought the gas and the solder at Lowes, in their tool section. I imagine Home Depot has it too. Its been several years now, so I've forgotten what kind of solder it was, except that it was right next to the MAP gas. It has not leaked since. The flame gets really hot, so be careful that you don't burn a bigger hole in the radiator.
