theres no need to unhook anything. you can do it on the ground, but when its in the air its really easy to spin the wheel and make sure it doesnt bind anywhere, its possible to make it too tight...

Yep, last time I just did all the adjustments with the car on the ground. The trick with the second adjustment is to feel when it gets a little bit tighter than after the worm gear adjustment. You may find this easier with the car off the ground. It's up to you.
