VW weber??

ok goes like this...

i gota hold of a weber carb for free, its a 40 idf or something along those lines (im too lazy to get up and go to the garage to look), but anyway, it came off an old carman dia (forgive my spelling). i tore it down and saw it has solid floats and what im hoping is a good canidate for a blowthrough set-up. i figure that it needs rejeted for the app, isnt rejeting just making the stock jet orafaces bigger. i hear there is alot more that should be done, but what.

is this carb even good for whole concept??

it would be a shame to waste a good weber.

Rejetting is actually changing the jets to a different size. Drilling out the ones you have wouldn't be very precise.

I'm running a Weber 40 IDF on my N/A set up. I think ti was originally part of a Car Tech Turbo set up thou. Don't ask me about the jetting, cause I'd half to tear it apart again to tell you the numbers.
