very simple tie rod end ?

ok this is a real easy one for someone who's changed their tie rod ends. I'm gonna do mine in a week or so and got thinking about it. What keeps the shaft from spinning when you go to tighten the castle nut down? Maybe i'm thinking about it wrong, but the joint on it is made to spin right? so what keeps it from just turning like crazy? I'm sure there's a simple answer to this. TIA

usually its the tie rod rusted to the ball joit that keeps it from spinning...

I'm sure it will be pretty obvious when you go to do it.

it's press-fit... a taper lock... as soon as it's hand-tight, the shaft locks in enough to torque it down.. don't worry

It's called friction. It's not just a good idea, it's the law.
