i havnt been on here in a whil , i lost my internet, .... but i had to post my terrible news... i blew my motor the other day on my way to work.. then got fired for being late.... hopfullly this weekend/week il have a "new" motor in her again. that is all so now im driving my girls fb... all slow and silent. and im jobless...

 

damn that sucks.

hope you can get a new better higher paying job soon. and get your car running.

I feel you man, a very similar thing happenned to me 4 weeks ago (except I didn't get fired) so I know what it's like. I'm getting a newly rebuilt streetported engine in a few days and everything will be even better than before. Don't worry, it'll all work out in the end, you'll get lucky

 

your employer sucks! well, at least you still have the girl and a 7. that would be the brighter side of things..

I understand your pain, I popped my 18 months ago and I am just getting my car up and running again myself.

 

damn dude that sucks, where do you work at man, First. I think you should find out where your boss lives and pop his tires overnight so in the morning he can be late to work and get fired hehe...other than that man, just take it easy, go find a better job and get that engine in there.

It's alright man we feel ya. November i blew my engine and i still drive my dad's truck around waiting for money for parts... its sad at first but if i have learned one thing in cars its this:
The best excuse to upgrade is when something breaks.
So get a streetport/12at/13bt and then be happy that ur old engine blew because now you have a much faster FB.

Yeah, dude. count yer blessings! My girl doesn't like my 83 gsl that much. So count what blessings you got. (She says, "when are you gonna get an FD?", though, so she's got her head in the right place. lol.)

But seriously, many condolances for your car and your job. Do some open-pipe midnight fly-by's by your (ex)boss's house when you get your next car set up. (makes me smile jes' thinkin' about it.)

he had close to 300,000 miles on his. so his motor proved that rotaries can hold their own. it sux that it had to happen now. :/

why is it i finally get mine running and noone elses is???? wierd; just wierd.

 

she had 239k on her, i was shifting into third out of about 5k rpms. robert from rotaryshack is hooking it up . and soon i will have a 12at with a weber,lightend flywheel, and clutch..... so that will be fun!!!! im very excited! thanks for all the support. and yea my boss was 24. and ye he is a dick.. zach calll me!!!!!!

 

Don't worry Zac, May is coming and mine is getting steadily better by the day Thanks again for the AAB, that and the Air Pump I got from Carl are gonna help me pass the safety with flying colours.
