i have a 85 gsl se that i may be selling next summerits got 127000 on it with 16 inch racing rims and yokohomas, leather, sunroof, pw, header back racing beat exaugst new fuel pump rotors, pads, slave cylander, master cylander, and a polished intake manifold. it runs great has no rust. i was thinking of asking 3500 even though the blue book is only like 1500 i was wondering if u guys agree that this is a fair price.
2000 max? NO
I paid $1990 for mine and it needs paint and it's completely stock. It did only have 72k miles but still. If it really is in great shape I would say you could get $3500 if you find the right person. If it's just someone who sees a 20 y/o car for $3500 they'll probably dismiss it, but if they know what they're looking at you shouldn't have a problem.

classic yeah but that won't raise its value much yet
classic only matters when its stone stock ask any car restorer if the car is bone stock then its value goes up immensley over a modified one, what if your buyer is from cali? No cat, no smog. (not to mention the racing beat exhaust)
not saying you won't get it, but if your going to make a blanket statement like that you got to realize that it only really works if its stock.
If a fellow "performance enthusiast gets it then tuned is OK, but if the person is a collector, tuned is almost worthless unless it has historical value, IE: one that ran GTu, GTO or what not, and had a winning record or set some interesting records. Then being modified would make it more valuable. buy changeing al matter of items you simply make it so that a local dealer is even less willing to work on it.
