Urgent advice needed on fitting a body kit
I have the first Ultima front air dam, there is a poll on how it looks on this forum and details on a recent thread about this Australian product
The problem is that it has no brackets to hold it to the body. The person who installed the prototype just glued it in place. The stock bar is bracketed in place at several points.
What are peoples' experience of gluing on fibreglass body kits? I am worried I might loose the lot at high speed or on rough roads.
As a matter of interest, the quote for finishing off the front dam ready for painting[its a rough finish], painting and fitting is $600 plus $140 for secondhand Eunos turn/park indicators. This is on top of the $500 initial cost.
Its a great shape but there is a long way to go in fitting it.
