Lose the...

Testirosa ****,
Paint the black molding/or remove.
Lower the car alittle.

Paint match the mirror to body code.

WITH the moldings painted a nice LIGHT silver based tint would look nice,NOT the hard core 3M Commercial 1 way mirror tint.

I think the car looks alot better, and that kit is very nice, makes the car unique, as for the wing, some how it seems to fit and I like the look of the black molding strips. Good job on cleaning it up.

it looks like a sportscar now and not a mexican ricer. i agree to keep the wing. makes the car unique and fits the kit like directfreak said. now did you ever fix your explosive exhaust?

Agreed, much improvement I see, yes.

It's your car, do with it what you like...but if it were mine (ok, it wouldn't be mine...maybe someone I could actually influence) I would suggest the wing fly away and the side spats say bye. It wouldn't look half bad then! :P

WTF is testarosa?

Damn.. That black FB has the 3rd gen 5 lug conversion... Sweet. It's times like this that I wish my moral standads could slide as low as CarTheif... Sadly, they only go as low as Petty Thug

Hehe...I think the original owner.....really, really wanted to pretend he had a Testarossa.

Strakes....large, almost F-40 wing, and pretty similar looking wheels....

Oh yeah...

I don't think I will be losing the strakes anytime soon. I have a large front and rear fascia...and then I would have stock sides?

With the front and rear, it would look a little silly without the flare on the side.

Not to mention, there is a 1 - 1,000,000 chance I could ever find the actual Kaminari side molding to replace the strakes.

Can you think of anyone else in the club, or any other Rx-7 owner.....that has my wing, or my Testarossa strakes?

Probably not. It's what makes my car unique. Everytime you see it......you will be able to say "Oh, thats HondaGuy's car."

Not saying I love the strakes, but you have a point.... Its not horrible with them on, and its unique, so I say keep them. Not to mention that I think most of the body kits on 1st gens look pretty silly for one reason: they don't do much at all with the doors, especially WB kits.

The car looks much better without the louvers, and the crome fender lips BTW.

I think it looks much better, and I think you should keep the wing/kit.

Here's a shot of the car without the spoiler for comparisons's sake. I think it would look good without, but covering mounting holes and whatnot is a serious hassle.

Well my friend I'm a little older and a product of the 80's and like the louvers, but the metal not plastic ones. As for the wing, the wrap around 3 piece would look much better and the side strakes have got to go. I've had 4 7's and yours is still one of the nicest i've seen, so just keep luv'n it your way and enjoy!

I agree with MosesX605. That car would look really cool without the wing, as in his picture, but it would be quite the hassle.

It looks really nice as is, but I think that wing is just a bit too big.

Try to chop a whale tail or the OEM warp around wing, and chop the Testarossa lines out.Lets see what it looks like

The wing is too much. It would look better with an OEM lip spoiler. Would hide any holes and such too.

This is what I was thinking of, as well.....it would be balanced, but those crazy strakes are hard to look at it!!

And who the heck voted that they liked it better before?! lol..
