Will a stud remover take out the whole threading? Isn't the threading that the nut goes onto welded into the housing? Is it possible to take that out and put locktite on a new one or something and replace the screwed up threading thing with new one? Or will I need to get a new engine jut to bolt up the intake manifold properly? Do you get what i'm saying? Cause basically what the nut bolts up to is ruined it looks like
Not welded to the rotor housing. That stud is removable. Take off your intake manifold and try using the stud puller. Good luck. I'm sue you can do it.
Go back and forth working the stud. Take your time.

I guess im not being clear or you didn't read everything above, I'm on the last nut on the intake manifold(left side nut, there are only two) and its stripped and busted and the stud is too it looks like . I just need to get the nut off and then I can do what I need to and then get some new nuts and a stud. Thanks god bless. Can I get a stud remover at like sears or something. Or do I need to special order something
Yes you can get a stud remover from sear and maybe even autozone. I had the same problem and just replace the stud with another bolt from another engine. Down side 1 stud to help you lone up the intake when installing it but its not that bad.

http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...seBVCookie=Yes. Thats what i'll need right. Is that the right size, 1/2?
Ok, thanks Nick. Now i guess since i'll be getting a new stud i'll just try and dremel the nut off.

There appears to be some confusion here. From what I understand, the nut is stripped and not coming off of the stud. If that's the case, you ight try a nut splitter or the dremel. Once the nut is off, inspect the threads on the stud. If they are bad, replace it. The studs are screw in, not press in. The tool in the last Sears link will work for removal.
There is also a chance that the stud will snap in half, be careful.

. There's the pic. Bad quality though. Couldn't get right lighting. On the left side the the nut and the stud are like gone. What should I do to get the nut off? I don't want to use the dremel because sparks. Then, what tool would ineed to put a new stud in? Thanks guys
Sparks won't hurt anything unless you have a bunch of gas puddling around. Stick a couple of wet rags in the exhaust ports. You could also get a nut cracker/breaker from Sears, if there is enough room for the tool. All it does is split the nut.

UPDATE: Ok, guys. I got the bolt off, my dad pretty much He broke it in half with the dremel and then I took it off. I got the intake manifold off now and It has a big hole because of the dremel. Got another manifold on ebay. Got some studs too. Should be in the next two days or so. I'll let you guys know how everything is when I get her back running and how the temp and everything is. God bless
The intake manifold is held on with 2 studs and nuts in the middle. The there are 4 bolts, one each, above and below the secondary ports. I should have caught that before.
