Update and a Q?
Well after all the trouble shooting i find that my bastard shutter valve wasn't broke after all! Turns out that someone plugged the metal tube thats right in front of the purge valve.
Right after i unplugged it with the engine running my idle solidified my shutter valve stopped shuttering and i could rev the engine and it would return to a 750 idle.
I tried to find what this nip does with no luck? But if i plug it the whole engine starts shaking and such.!
Well ive replaced the distrubutor,plug's,wires,regrounded the engine,tranny and battery,and have replaced the radiator hoses. Ive also taken the air horn off and blasted all the air bleed's and jets with carb cleaner and cleaned out the bowls.
Now with my FC i had great fun and result's with porting the UIM and LIM i was wondering if the gain would be worth the effort if i did it on this manifold? Ive read a few thread's and there seems to be a gain made by removing the shutter flapper and cutting grooves in the manifold.
