Cool Update...Got it all tuned...Kinda.

Well, I messed with my car some more today. I drained all the old YELLOW gas out of there, and put 5 gallons (biggest can I could find, cant drive to the station) of fresh 92 octane (just to help any of the old **** burn) in there. I tool the plug out and took the filler cap off, let it drain, and then I pulled the inlet to the carb and had the pump run to drain the lines. Then I pu the fresh in, and had the pump run and just "flush" out the bowls. After all that, I started her up and played with some settings on the carb. I re-set the idle, and the mixture. Also, I noticed my shutter valve was all fuckered up. It was sucking air constantly. I disconnected the little line and it runs great. Any problems with this? After that, it was running 110% better than it was. I took it out for a little spin on the road (shhh, its not legal yet ), and all I can say is SWEET!! I like the power, and the way it pulls and sounds. Spun the tires in 1st, 2nd, and part of 3rd . Brand new clutch really bites well . I didnt mean to be hard on it, its just that I couldnt resist. Gotta let the clutch settle now, im gonna be easy for a few hundred or so . Anyway, it ROCKS. I cant wait to get it out on the road as my daily driver . So thats about it for now...Sorry its so long .

PS - Still gotta get the damn tranny mount in, and get new tires, mine are really dry rotted .

Will do, thanks . Should be soon too, as I just finished the tranny mount today, and threw in a new fuel filter for the hell of it. Im just waiting on tires now . Then its all small detail **** like wire ties and split loom, colored hoses and crap .
