okay, so i bought my seven from a guy who had it stored at my local shop. it had an oil leak, they fixed it. before i bought it. I buy it, the next day i see puddles of oil in my driveway. i take it there, they say it's the lines leaking. then the cooler's leaking. okay, i can get it welded. i plan to pick it up that friday. I had someone lined up to weld it and everything. My dad stops in to see what's going on, and they had it apart and sent the cooler off to be welded. I assume that is done by now, and call. they're waiting for a part. I called the same day i was going to pick it up. i call every 2 days or so...same thing, waiting for a part. then on the way home from school, i stop in and see the owner. He's helped me before and told me to pass on a few FB's, but told me to buy the one i bought, so he's familiar with sevens. he said they ordered new oil cooler lines, and they've been waiting on them. That was...oh, the last part of january. here it is, the 20th and they're still not on and my baby is sitting at the shop, waiting for them. they said 23 year old parts are hard to get. I get to talking with my dad and said, I could have had the car back, taken apart, had the cooler welded, and have my lines back on, stainless braided ones, for half the cost and half the time. they're still waiting, to the best of my knowledge. I will talk to them today when I get out of school. This really makes me mad. But it has an upside. We've gotten a ton of snow, and thus salt is on the roads. I would have been driving it (can't resist) in the salt and snow. I don't know who they ordered from, but it's getting old.

Oh and each wheel weighs about 15lbs. Thats why these are gonna be my everyday wheels and the LE wheels that are on her right now are gonna be used for AutoX (LE wheels weight 11lbs each)

For daily driver tires, I reccomend the Kumho Ectsa SPT. 320 treadwear, AA traction and a W speed rating. $56 each from tirerack.
You could also get the Falken ZE512's from discounttiredirect for $55 each, including shipping.
Those are the 2 tires I am currently trying to pick from. I'd rather have the Kumho's, though. The Kumho's are not meant to be used when the temp is near, or below freezing, or on snow/ice. Living in SA TX, those shouldn't be a problem very often. They aren't an issue for me either. I don't drive my FB when the weather is bad, as I have a couple trucks to pick from.
Nice wheels.
For autox, get some falken azenia 615's. Street legal, but one of the top tires in the classes that require street tires. You can put those on the day before, and drive to the event. Less work at the event, and less hassle getting everything to the event.

WTF is a Piston?..Anyone?
that is some nice stuff. Really fell inlove with the rims when i saw them in the pics. I dont like slotted rotors for everyday driving i heard they just ripp the padds apart because it peels to the new layer of pad but thats just mee still love em
