Isn't that the turbo, right there, under the carb?

I dunno- I've never seen a turbo mounted on a 1st gen like that...The guy didn't offer any stats on that set up...

For the un-informed old schoolers like me..What IS the difference between a draw through and blow through turbo..I've only worked on NA cars..(and tractors)..

Actually let me re-phrase that..I've only worked on non-turbo cars..I did work on a few FI's..

Yeah, I think this setup is kinda a dumb setup. Even though its turbo, I rather go with a blowthrough setup anyday. For several reasons, you can run more boost, run a intercooler correctly, and most importantly, its a better setup to have then running your "mix'd air fuel" through the turbine of a draw through. Plus when ever your not in boost, your running vacuum through that turbine, doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I see the turbo in one of the photos..I believe that was like a Arkay (sp?) or BAE set-up...God I must be old to know that!

yeah thats the old BAE setup, ive got the turbo and manifold from one of the kits. if you just plan on runnin low boost draw through is much easier. at low boost you dont need an intercooler or anything fancy also

why does everyones car but mine already have the turbo installed :'(
