The link you posted is not a supertrap. Your link is for small engine mufflers, chain saws and the like, they even have them for Bobcats. Why don't you try that cheaper eBay version of the one you originally posted. It's cheap enough that buying one and testing it wouldn't hurt the wallet much. If you do get it, post the results along with a sound clip. We're always looking for viable options.

That's a pricey little muffler, though I'm not sure if the intent of the design is to trap sparks. I believe the idea behind the design is geared more towards trapping noise and being able to adjust it's muffling abilities. I would need to go back through my PayPal payments, but that's about what I spent buying 2, 3", Magnaflows for the widebody.

I'm officially volunteering you to try out that funky wrap around muffler you found. LOL

Yea it looks like it belongs on a harley to me. But I might. Heres some interesting tests with some sound clips etc on spin tech mufflers and rotarys. The quiet spin tech is $90. The guy claimed a 5DB drop in sound levels with this muffler. Also shows what the rotary heat can do to mufflers pretty amazing stuff.
