looking for a bit of advice here,
I am planning on buying their IDA throttle body while the australian dollar is down. The only thing I am trying to figure out is if I would want the tappered bore throttle body for use in a boosted application? I understand that in an NA that the tappered bore would be good, but in a boosted system where you are already stuffing air in wouldn't the tappered bore end up being more of a restriction and therefore hurt overall performance?

quick question, do you have a haltech? or stock ecu?

 

heh, going to be running an aftermarket, not like the wrist watch that counts as an ECU will run the EFI system. anywho for the cost I am going to go with megasquirt

Many Ozzy's run that TB setup boosted.....they usually run a PacPerformance or similar IDA style-plenum. Ask around on the AusRotary.com forum.

 

Alot of guys also run a Injection Perfection throttle body...another brand to look at/compare...
