isn't there anywhere that you can buy it that would refund your money? Or, like dude said up there, if you have any decent welding ability, you can just cut the flange off, and manipulate it to wherever you want that sucker to point.

S&S Autochrome has been making turbo manis for the 2nd and 3rd gens. They had a lot of trouble with the earlier ones cracking but seem to have that worked out with the later ones. I don't know if their 2nd gen mani will fit a 1st gen or not. Do not buy their turbos or wastegates, they are junk.

The other option is to buy some steam pipe weld els from McMaster-Carr, flanges from RB and weld up your own.

Iirc, there was a thread a while back by MoreMazda, (sp), he made his own and it looked very good.

if you got something for a Gen II, i don't see whay you couldn't make it work. i used a Gen II manifold (stock) on my car and just had the B-pipe custom made to fit my exhaust system.

something to consider ...

Here are some pictures. The inlet for the turbo is 4" so I would guess that the overall diameter of the cold side is around 7-8". Once again the manifold is a HKS cast for a FD.

I was wondering if the S&S ones fit in a 1st gen. Good to know, I'm heading in that direction in a month. Which turbo flange did you get and can you post pics of how the wastegate mounts and ties back into the exhaust?

Last question, will the mounting clearences be same for an S4 TII engine as it is for your Cosmo?

Sorry guys but I'm in NYC till Oct, so I can't take any pics. The wastegate is vented to atmosphere at the moment, but I route it to the exhaust as soon as I get back.

Last question, will the mounting clearences be same for an S4 TII engine as it is for your Cosmo?
Remember that my my LIM is from an S4 with an adaptor to the Cosmo UIM. So there should be no clearrence problems.

more info later, have to go.
