You will get more luck in the first gen area for general set ups related to your car, there are many turbo guys there who can answer your questions better..... I will move it and keep an eye on it in that section.

I'm assuming you are running the Webber style throttle bodies?? You will need an after market computer like Haltech...etc. Get a cartech exh manifold if you can find one. What motor are you running?

If you are going to run a distributor, check out the haltech F9.. it is just a fuel computer.. they go second hand fairly cheap.. There are tons of others.. do a search.

As for fuel pressure regulator and pump, it is the same, there are tons, just search. The SX is a nice regulator though. They go for ~130 i believe...

As for pump, just pickup a walbro pump..

Walbro makes pumps for fuel injection.. most of us run walbro 255... I have a inline bosch pump from the TT porche.

BTW both of those are good for over 400RWHP which is probably alot higher flow then you will need.

I would go with an SX.. they are fairly cheap and pretty nice.. They go for ~130 i believe..

And get the 1:1.. It will raise the PSI for every PSI of boost.. So if you run a 35psi base, it will raise 1 psi for every psi of boost...

what is 1:1.
p.s am i only supposed to run 1 pump or 2.the person who had this set up before said he was running 2 pumps.
thanks for all the advice!

u dont need 2 pumps.. He was just doing it the cheap way most likely.

1:1 is 1PSI of boost to 1PSI of fuel pressure.. it is a ratio.. If you run 35psi base fuel pressure, and boost 5psi, it will raise the fuel pressure to 40psi.

Oh, and depending on how much power you want to make, you might need to sump the gas tank and run new fuel lines. The GSL-SE has better lines and a better tank too.

so what your saying is it will only run at more psi when it goes into boost and will run at 4.5 psi at idle.i was also only going to run at about 7 pounds of boost to start and maybe go up to 10 or 12 max.depends on how the motor handles it.

What is the compression ratio of the engine? Or what engine is it?

10Psi is really the MAX you want to run on a high compression rotary without race gas.

7psi is usually considered safe..

And with EFI, Fuel pressure is alot higher then carbed.. I believe most start ~32PSI for the base.. And yes you are right, it will only raise the fuel pressure when in boost..

the motor is a 1976 13 b with 86 rotors.it has about 40,000 miles on the motor.

the set up is carburator with 2 additional injectors with a manifold that connects to the carb.

I'm a little confused.

Are you running a Weber carb? or the throttlebodies? Where are the injectors mounted?

To the center injector bungs I would suppose. Or otherwise new bungs were welded on the intake.

the injectors are mounted on a seperate manifold that attatches to the carb.

that what i was thinking but i will run about 7 psi to start, then increase little by little.a friend of mine told me 12 psi would be good with the wastegate that I have.he said that it was kind of old.

I get it now. You can use AIC for the additional injectors that come in during boost.
