Cool tune up my car + found more problems

I was doing a tune up.. change oil, filter, plugs, replace my signal light bulbs all-a-round, check all weather seals(yeah i need new ones) I switched my frozon brake caliper.. thats when i saw it.. MORE CANCER!! WTF!!

its located in both front wheel well. apprently the frame is the central point. Theres lots of sand and "stuff" in the freaking frame! I found tons of acorn shells and looks like stuffing from pillows and ****. well it looks like this is holding water and leading to rust. It doesn't look like much at this point but its laugh at me.. dareing me to do something about it. Mocking me.. haha you can;t get raid of me.. repetative nightmares...

Well.. what choices do I have for this? Will a steam cleaner do it? Should I take everything apart and get myself a couple cases of beer and a coat hanger??

Don't let it go, that's for sure, stop it now while the damage is minor. Sounds like a small animal was living in there, so probably some other "goodies" that would just increase the rate of oxidation like animal urine and what not.

I had a chipmonk fill the heat runs on a vw so full that nothing got through them, took a special built vacuum cleaner to extract about 5lb of cherry pits.

When I fixed up my first car, 68 bonneville, it had been sitting in a field for a year before I got it and a mouse nest literally shot out of the vents piece by piece when it was turned full blast.

Highly unhealthy, knowing the diseases you can get from that.

Get the power washer out and start blasting the nesting material and crap out of there, after it's dry, treat/repair/grind/sand, etc.

yeah most def sounds like a mouse/rats nest. i had the same deal that defakto did in my truck when mice got in there. a bird or somthin of the sort built a nest under my upper intake mani b4 i got my car so i used a high pressure air hose and it worked like a charm.

guys.. its going to be winter soon.. I am sure that a good shot of high pressure water would do the trick but its going to get freaking cold as heck and i don't want the water to freeze while its in the car. I heard all that cold air out west is moving this way. I think its better that I wait for spring or summer. What I am going to do is little by little with a vacumm and a metal fish tape(the kind used for electrical work) get all of it out. Theres really no other choice for me. Unless I win the lotto. Then I can afford to pay someone like trochoid to take complete care of my baby.

And if it gets too cold for me.. i'll just stop working on the car and wait. I am no rush, Thanks Guys. I should have posted some pics.

Blast it today, it will be dry by tomorrow. If you wait till spring to clean it out, you'll have more damage.

Cold ****, it was 69 Mon, now it's 17 with ice on everything and snow coming. bah humbug
