Just in case.......just so you know, before you cut up anything you shouldnt......

If you are going to wire up the stock FC fuel injection, there is no reason or need to cut up,splice or hack into the FB wiring at any point.
Trust me,Ive had both S4 and S5 FC engines in my 84 with all the factory FC EFI working and neither required any mods to the 1st gen's wiring. The right side is plug and play and the left side must be made from scratch and powered up through an FC fuse box and main relay. You could drop the entire FC dash harness into the FB,but its much easier and cleaner to just lay out the 12-15 wires needed and just make a new left side harness.
