Trip to the 1/8 mile

Well I went to the 1/8th mile for the first time this year, and it was dissapointing. Check sig for mods. I ran a little slower than usual and just couldn't hook up for my life. Which is unusual, because I usually hook up pretty well even on street tires. WEll anyway the times are
Oh my 60ft times were 2.2(6-9) It wasn't very good. Usually its around 2.17 or so, man, just a bad first day for me.

9.8 @ 72 MPH
9.9 @ 71 MPH
10 @ 69 MPH
9.8 @ 72 MPH

It was like 76 degrees and crazy humid out and I didn't have the carb dialed in at all, the times kept getting slower and slower, then I decided to lean it out, on the last run and that got me back to where I started. Damn it made me soo mad today. I should've kept playing with the carb, but my dad doesn't like when I do it. So when he left I tuned it and got the MPH back and it started pulling again. Then I had to leave to go to work. IT feels like it has sooo much left in it, but I need to tune the thing next time.

Oh but a good thing, I beat a 5.0 Mustang on the first run, 9.80 to 10.03. Should've seen the look on his face.. HAHA priceless... that was the only good part of the day, oh well there is always next time, and hopefully its like 70 and not humid.

The slicks are tiny, they will probably spin, but not much.. so it should be fine.
