So does anyone have know if all 12a trannies are the same gear ratios? and if the gsl-se has a different ratios than a 12a trannie??

 

As far as I know, all 12A trannies are the same except for the 4 speeds, which are basically a 5 speed with no 5th gear. The GSL-SE trannies have different ratios with a taller 5th gear.

EDIT: Let me re=phrase, the only difference between 12A and -SE trannies (in 85 anyway) is a taller 5th gear for the -SE tranny.
