Transmission scatter shield/blanket
I am building a peripheral port 12a for my fb and since the engine will be turning such high rpm's I think I should be safe and install a scatter shield or blanket of some sort. Does anyone have experience with this? Where can I buy one that isn't made for a domestic? Should I go with a blanket or a metal shield? Would it be fairly easy to fab my own? Any and all help is appreciated!

Is it for street use? If so, I think you'd should be safe for the occasional excursion to 10000rpm as long as you have a good quality lightened flyhweel and clutch assembly. You can never be too careful though I spose. This video is a good reminder of what happens when you take the "cheap" option. Note it's about 10 years old though.
