Transmission Rebuild Kit

Where can I purchase a rebuild kit for a 1985 12A manual transmission? Checked Ebay and they have gaskets and bearings but no syncronizers in the kit. All the usual FB support vendors carry the same thing too. Need help quick!

manual trans kits usually only consist of seals, bearings, and gaskets. anything internal like gears and such will probably have to be gotten thru the dealer, if that's still even possible. and that wont be cheap.

There is a site that still sells both the basic refresh kits like you mentioned then the rebuild kits that do include synchros but for the life of me, I cannot remember it.

Edit-

Here it is, dunno if they are still in business or not:

your best bet sot wise, is to purchase a known good series correct 5spd replacement trans. a rebuild kit, new gears, synchornizers, seals, pressed in brass tailshaft bearing, front cover with pivot ball, etc may cost in upwards of $1000 or more...

Dave - maybe not:
Mazda RX7 Rotary 1.1L RX7 1981-85 5spd, RWD, RX7 - 20.5mm wide double ball front countershaft bearing - 1st-4th synchro rings have 36 teeth DTSBK132L $ 109.20 DTSBK132LWS $ 194.04

"LWS" kit includes all the syncros. These kits do NOT include the fr cover, gaskets, but those are reasonable thru mazdatrix. Would be under $300 for all you'd need...?

Thanks peeps I will call the link provided tomorrow to see if they are still in business. I think so since they have a FB page. Changed fluid on the tranny but the 2nd gear syncros are still a little on the rough side but better. I have to rev match to get it back into 2nd gear from 3rd gear.

gears are always expensive from anyone, but synchro's are reasonable, and just about everything is available

88 fc trans rebuild

So I already have a 5 speed trans, but before I install in car, i want to go thru it once and only once before i put it in my car. This is what ive found so far,... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.tra...ring-bk132bws/

if my gears are in good shape I should need nothing more minus the clutch upgrades, which brings me to my next inquiry. So right now I'm n.a. but in future plan to swap to turbo, any suggestions for clutch upgrades, or point me in a good general direction. Thanks for help
