TX Transmission noise diagnosis needed.

OK i own an 85 GSL, with the 12A motor. Its had 1 owner and 137K miles on it. The engine and stuff is all good, ive done a 60K tune-up. Now i got it running im hearing this wierd grinding sound from my transmission. But only when the clutch is out. Doesnt matter in gear , out, RPM. Whenever the clutch is out its making the sound. Its driving me nuts. Ive done extensive work on these cars, and know them i like to think pretty well, so im not an idiot. its just i want to know what im getting myself into before i take out my tranny.
Ive heard, throw-out bearing, input shaft bearing, but is it correct? to help the efforts ive also included a video from youtube that i posted of the sound. Se here it goes.

Throwout bearing. My old tranny did the same thing for over 20,000 miles and nothing catastrophic ever happened. Just highly annoying. That's not to say that yours couldn't explode soon after you read this though. It might be an urgent issue, or it might last forever.

Good luck...

The most common if yours if making the noise as you drive is the front counter shaft bearing.

ok let me be a little more clearer,
noise when pedal is up!
No noise when pedal is down
Throw out bearings on Fb's and FC's make noise when the clutch is down, not up.
Fd's are opposite, i do not have an FD trans in my car.
But thanks. any other ideas?

Like stated it is probably the front counter shaft bearing and it is very common. The replacement counter shaft bearing is a improved design. Still possible that the other transmission bearings are bad but when you get it out you should be able to hear that front bearing my turning the input shaft.

Sorry, mine made noise when clutch was released (pedal up) and I assumed it was the throwout bearing...

nah its cool man, im not passing judgment, im just trying to be clear, what the problem is, from my experiance. because ive seen other peoples threads and they get confused, noise when in, out and they get the wrong thing, some other guy replaced his and the noise was still there, thats why im just trying to be certain and not take off my tranny 10 times. its all good though man, im all ears for any advice. thats why i posted it here.
