Transmission Fluid Leaking

I have noticed a small amount of transmission fluid that has leaked onto the garage floor. My 79 gen 1 does sit a lot. Haven't noticed any driving issues. Anybody have any ideas on this?

Thanks

my guess would be a bad output shaft seal. check for fluid flinging around the trans tunnel and fluid blowback underneath the car. its pretty simple to replace. remove the driveshaft, inspect the seal for tears and make sure it hasnt hardened. remove it with a seal puller and install a new seal with a seal driver or large socket.

before you go and replace stuff, you might want to get under it and have a look.

Oh - and maybe DRAIN THE TX first before pulling the seal!? Otherwise I believe it will "do" the job for you since it will drain from the tail once the shaft is pulled-
