How do you check the tranny fluid?

remove the square plug in the side of the tranny. level should be right up to the hole. fair warning tho, some ppl overtighten this plug so u may need to use both hands and a foot for leverage.

jack up the car and make sure it is level at all four corners (a lift works wonders for this) and remove the fill plug on the left side of the trans. it can be removed using the open end of a 14mm wrench. using your first or little finger, poke in the hole and downward at a 90 degree angle. the fluid should be to the bottom of the fill hole. boos says 1.8 quarts but i use 2 and i use redline mt 90.
