Tranny and Engine Fluid/oil

I did a search but i was just wondering what trany fluid everyone is using and engine oil.

i have a 1980 5spd manual
12a if it makes any difference.

Trany/diff: Redline synthic 80/90 gear lube every... so offten

ok so more mazda how much of each do i need and just curious if you know a rough cost?

More or less the same as Moremazda, but different location:

83 GSL
Castrol GTX 10w-30
Redline MT-90 (Awesome, awesome, awesome)

Conway

PS In case you missed it, Redline is awesome. I just thought it would be a little smoother and protect better, but it made my car more fun to drive! Had better too at $8 a quart!

Ive been using Valvoline Durablend 10w-40 in the engine.. Amsoil Series 2000 75w-90 gear lube in the tranny and cheap Valvoline gear lube in the diff.

2.5 qts for the tranny and 1.5qts for the diff @ $9/bottle

5qts engine oil @ $1.69/qt

Oh yea, don't for get the oil filter , Puloator Pure One $4.99ea.

I plan on doing redline, cause I always hear such kind words about it but, has anyone used royal purple gear oil in their 7?

I'd rather go with purple to match my cars paint job

I run Redline for all fluids.
It is way to expensive for most people to run in the motor though...... I dont mind, worth the extra thermal protection.
