dood, did you call in a bomb threat to get the street so empty like that? maybe you just threatened pedestrians at gunpoint. excellent pics of downtown tho. oh, and the slate-roofed building in the irst photoshopped pic, my great uncle designed it. iirc, its a bank building of some kind. he did the remodeling of the jail downtown too.

I think for one, the door window channels will be a pain to try and customize, then there's the top of the windshield. I think without support it may cause problems. Then fabricating a removable top would be challenging. It just looks like there's alot of work involved, and finding a body person to create all that would be hard and costly I think.
I would guess that the frame would need work too if the top was removed.
