Tokico RZ

I have been looking into short body, short stroke dampers for my gsl for a while now. i know bilstein had some a while back but are discontinued and i know tokico has their RZ race dampers and i'm wondering if anyone has any dimensions on them and perhaps knows how i would be able to get a pair without having to enroll in the mazdaspeed program.

You can have any Tokico dealer special order them for you......you don't have to be a MazdaComp menmber to get them.

As far as specs go, try contacting Tokico directly or check out their website. The vendor may be able to get that info for you. Just ask,.

i've emailed tokico and koni so far. tokico got back to me and said that the RZ dampers were discontinued in 1996. so no luck with that. i know g-force's coilovers use a custom koni short body damper so i'm waiting to hear back from koni about possible custom dampers.

contact billy. He knows everything about the suspension of our cars and the little tweaks like this. He sells more products than anyone else for it anyway.

The type of damper that you are after can be found. You're going to want to look at what the circle track guys are using. Billy could send you straight to what you need, I believe...

yeah i've talked to billy about this and he doesn't know of any at this time. this is why i tried asking in a thread just in case someone knew of something by chance. he said to check with koni and bilstein. send the specs that i'm looking for and see if they can look something up.

Okay. I had just seen before when somebody asked a similar question and he sent him a link to Summit that had some short body shocks used by circle track racers. Perhaps it was a different application though.

Good luck.
