Title help

Ok guys, here's the deal. The two 1st gens I got do not have titles. I was wondering if anyone has ever gone through the process of getting titles and if so, what is the process and how pain staking is it? Also I am in Nevada so I am not sure if it changes from state to state.

I have called around and everyone I talk to tells me something else, I was hoping to get a straight answer here.

There is a title place in NV I think that can take care of you. Search my name and "Title" and you will find links to their website.

There is another option of filing "storage" paperwork, i.e claim you have been storing the car and it has been abandoned at your place for over 30 days.. I think it is called 142 paperwork... If the owner decides to REPO- the car from you you can charge $10 a day from the day you recieved the car untill the day they give you notice, or they can surrender the car... This will get you the title no doubt.

Yes, it varies state to state. It will most likely be difficult. It'll vary, too, depending on the situation.
Call the DMV and sweet talk them into telling you who the registered owner is and try to get the owner to sign the title over to you..
In TN, if you send a certified letter to the registered owner, and it comes back undelivered, that and an affidavit saying the car is in your possession is enough to have the car transfered into your name.
The DMV/county clerk of the county the car is registered in will be able to tell you what you need to do in detail..
