Tires again Need some 16 inch info

Hey

So I am thinking of a 16 inch rim on my gsl-se..........

its a 16 x 7.5 40 mm offset 4 x 114

what tire size could I use...

1. what would work and not rub........
2. could I upsize? or do I not have enough room.......

I have new kyb shocks and struts and soon to be put on Eibach pro springs.........

Thanks

Well, I have 205/45/R16. I don't think that I could fit anything larger than 205's in the front. I think that you can put 225's in the back but I'm not sure.

I would also like to know what is the largest you could go at the rear with 15" or 16" rims. Anyone?

the rear is more tolerant of wider tyres. The front is rub-sensitive, esp. the fender lip and spring.

I'm running 205/50R16s and had to have the fender lips slightly modified to fit.

205/45-16 here...

those 7.5" wide rims up front are gonna be a VERY tight fit.. what offset are you looking at runing?

The rear has plenty of space to run lots of diferent things. 225 maybe 235 even, depending on what you can get on your wheels... That's not going to be any limiting factor.

I dunno if you're gonna get those 7.5's up front. It's gona be very tight as I said before.

I have 15x7's with 205/50R15's up front with a 40mmET and you can measure the clearance to the front spring with a fealer guage its that tight wouldn't want to go anywider without a much lower offset and a widebody kit or arches
