I spoke with Gonzz and referred me to a craiglist "ad"
I deled the contact # since it is not Timmy's (Shane is his real name). Its his brother who told me that the parts were sitting in his garage so he sold them. At any rate, Shane, moved-in to a new apartment and has to take a deskjob. I requested Timmy's brother to give me a call to clear this mess.
Turbo parts: great for turbo projects! turbo, boost gauge, AFPR, etc

I'm parting off the rest of my turbo RX-7 project parts. The car ran like a raped ape, but I've got another toy now. Here's what's left of her... many of these parts can work for other project cars, but a few are specific to 7's.
~ Nitrous Express wet kit. Ran it at 75hp shot, but ready for more! I have the purge kit for it as well. Asking for $300.
~ 2nd generation RX-7 s4 turbocharger. Minimal shaft play, still spins VERY free and does not bind at speed. It's in GREAT shape with no cracks, burnt oil, or other problems. Asking $250
~ Turbocharger oil supply lines. Splits your OPM 4 ways, to the original OPM, to turbocharger, to oil pressure guage. I've plugged the 4th output. Asking $70, or $50 with the turbo.
~ Mallory 3309 AFPR. Best of the best for adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Brand new, but no box. I paid $120 for it a while back, asking $75.
~ Mazda MX-6 turbocharger. I think it's a IHI. Perfect condition, no shaft play - GREAT little turbo. Asking for $100.
~ 2nd generation RX-7 intercooler. All fins are in good shape. Very effecient, neatly compact. Asking for $50.
~ Boost gauge. $30, cant remember the manufacturer. Black face, orange needle. Reads no vacuum, but up to 30psi boost.
~ 10k RPM Autometer tachometer, black face, orange needle with shift light too. Asking for $70
~ Racing beat 12a side draft intake manifold. Perfect shape. $125
~ Mikuni 44phh carburator. Badass carbs for running boost... or not. Asking for $250
~ Mikuni 44phh carb pressure box. Perfectly welded pressure box for the carb when running boost. Asking for $60.

Somewhat I feel that the person I spoke with is the missing *******. Selling the turbo hat for what I sold it for not to mention the first paragraph.
All is I can say is maybe he deserved what has happened to him.

wacky-- carma is a bitch. what goes around comes around. people dont realize that so they go about doing whatever they want stealing from people and such. eventually it comes back and bites them in the ***. just be satisfied in knowning youre a bettr person than he is. thats how i look at my cases where people have stolen from me. i have satisfaction in knowing im better than them and itll all catch up to them one day.
I dealt with timmy/shane when he 1st came to the forum, seemed like a really nice kid. It's sad to see things go to **** like this. He gave me the impression that he was going to be a solid contrubuting member to the forum. I imagine that accident had a major change on his life.
I'm not making excuses for him wrong is wrong, just musing and disappointed how things turned sour for him.

LOL I'm a looser, but I googled shanes log in name and it looks like he pulls this **** on alot of people. On this site I found his story for not sending peoples stuff or money is because he attempted to kill himself because of personal problems. Looks like he builds a good rep with people then gives them the shaft. : Here's his response from July of 05:
I just made a MILLION-LINE post and then it never showed I hate to re-write it all over again, so here it is again, quickly:
I'm sorry to have suspended your build Donkey - check your PM's. To the rest of you, allow me to share with you what's happened in the last 2 months or so of my life.
Exactly 36 days ago I made an active attempt on my own life. I had become so hopeless with what I had done with my life to this point, and had no bright outlook for the future, that I thought that not existing at all would be better than what I was now. At only 22 I lost my wife, and all that I lived for. The divorce, bankruptcy, and ensuing embarassment was too much for me to handle. It had taken me 4 years to decide to make an active attempt on myself, and when I did I was fortunate enough to have had my brother find me within minutes of it being too late. The 30 days or so before my attempt, I did not carry out any personal responsibilities - no work, no bills, no nothing... that included not shipping Ivan's parts. I have spent the last month (roughly) rebuilding myself physically and mentally here in Las Vegas.
I do want to maintain a good reputation with the e30tech community, so I hope you will all allow me to prove myself a trustworthy person. I was raised with the mindset that you never wrong any person, and you always hold up to your word. I am prepared to do what is nescisary to correct my mistakes here, but for now I am dedicating a GREAT portion of my time making a complete recovery. I will try to check and reply to anything that you all may need to respond with - but please understand what I have to do right now. If for any reason you need contact me, just PM me and I can send you my phone number immediatly on my reciept of your message.
Again, my sincerest appologies to you all.

Kim,
If you read further on, someone says that he killed himself, which makes it sound to me like it's a larger scam going on with two people working together. That info was posted back near the beginning of 2006. Really makes me wonder....This seems to get fishier and fishier as time goes by. I think the truth needs to be found.
*edit*
Another interesting find
The suicide was anounced March 9th. 2006 on the forum link provided by kim
He join rx7club.com March 21st, 2006 under the exact same name....
One thing I've learned is coincidences usually aren't.

how many times has it been brought to your attention how bad threatening people on here can be for you? you might want to tone it down a notch. robert laid forth some valid points. he may be right, he may be wrong. he was just bringing forth info for people to see. he has a right to do so. you have a right to say whatever you want to say as well. you DO NOT have a right to threaten anyone, so stop.
besides, everything that has been brought down on you you have brought down on yourself. if you want to be pissed at someone, go look in the mirror.
