Hello, I have an 85 GSL SE (had a 84 gs for a couple years til I found this one). I was checking the timing and both leading and trailing have the same timing, I tried (as per the manual) to adjust the trailing only using the trailing vaccuum pods, but this adjusted "both". I verified firing order on all wires. Anyone have any experience with this?? Thanks for your advice.

 

Any potential that your distro is not locked down properly, and your moving the pots is rotating the dis.?

Are your RPM's changing as you adjust the vacuum pot?
