Question Timing FAQ ?

Anyone have an online manual on resetting and zeroing out the timing on a 1st gen GSLSE?

I have a fresh motor rebuilt, and just want to make sure I don't skip over anything.

ok, you need to turn the pulley untill the yellow mark ins alligned with the timing mark. Take the distributor out, and look at the gear. There should be a little punch hole on it. There is also verticle line on the end of the shaft of the dizzy. Align the punch mark with the line, and then stab teh dizzy back in. Start the motor and the timing should be about dead on.

FYI, remember to hook up the timing light to the leading plug of the front rotor.
