LOL No thats not why. I was just board and wanted to see if it would fit, and now im not sure it will come back out. I didn't drill any holes, im not sure if im gonna keep it in the car.

So i see you made it mom and pops... you have a good flight.

Well I have not started wet sanding yet. Soon maybe next week.
Instead this is what I have been doing. Once i get it all done it will be one piece.

My plan is to take the motor out this winter and paint the engine bay to match the paint.

If you don't like it just say so. I dont need the flames....

So what I'm looking for , is you guys to tell me to tear it out, or leave it and keep going............:dunno.......... One minute I like the next I don't.

I just kept on messing around. The rest will have to wait tell the motor comes out.

It still needs fine tuning..........

I had a few small sheets laying around that I used. It’s still not all done I have a few more pieces to make. The sheet I had was 4’ x 12’ x 1/8 thick.
When I’m done I will have a template that I can send to people for a small fee…

I like the diamond plate. Covered the floor of my shop with it cause the tile wasn't holding up. Be sure to clearcoat the plate before final install. Polishing it's a bitch.

I not sure on a price yet, I still have to finish it.

And yeah you have to remove everything, you will also have to do a little grinding.
I will do a full wright up on how to install when I'm all done.

I'm wanting to be just one piece, but it might end up being two. I will know when I take the motor out. Because I still have to paint the engine bay.

here is the first pass with 1200 grit sand paper

Here is the last pass with 2000 grit and a little water to see what it's gonna look like.

the color sure lightened up a lot. time to break out the buffer. I should have it done today. It's only noon and it's 90 outside.
