Unhappy time for name that part.....

as title says, mechanic is having trouble figuring out what these parts go to, it is a 12a to a 13b se swap, any help what they are and what they need to be connected to would be appricated (sorry about quality had crappy light conditions

edit: just so noone gets confused, its being swapped to stock gsl-se specs

1st pic, not sure what part you are asking. Maybe the Hot Start assist that is mounted to the strut tower. Not need with the 13b

2nd pic, should have a L and R on it to rich or lean the FI system.

On one of my previous 7's a friend found two connectors that looked as if they mated...when he connected them SMOKE!!!!! Burned up a short section of my wiring harness so BE CAREFUL.

I have a Chilton manual that shows some of the connectors by number. Let me take a look and see if there's anythin on these.

Iluvmyrx7.com has the wiring diagrams, including what the connecters look like, what colour wires go to them, and where they are located in the car. You need to print out the whole thing, and shuffle some papers, but you can figure it out. I managed to.

That said, the area of the car that you are refering to has a lot of open connectors. That picture looks about right, but if I remember I will check in the next few days. Potentially that big connector is the cross over between the engine and the body harness. They are different 12a-13b, and you may need to splice some wires together.

Download the wiring diagrams.
