tII intake manifold differences

Okay here's the deal. The oil control o-ring on my 76-78 13b is going. My friend has a tII motor for sale, but I don't have the cash to put in a stand alone system in it etc. I have all the stuff to put the motor into my car, front cover, oil pan, etc. Now I was wondering if I could put my 76-78 13b intake manifold with a 45dcoe onto that and hook up my header, so I don't have to deal with the fuel injection stuff until I have the money. I know it will be slow due to the low compression(if it works), but is this at least feasable? I need to replace my engine soon.
