Ive got a stage 2 street port on my 13b 6 port engine. Im thinkin i will need a better fuel pump. Anyone know if a tII pump would work and if so, anyhitng else i would need to do?

nope because the gslse fuel up is on the outside of the gas tank and the turbo II one is on the inside of the tank, you have to modified the fuel pick up to make it work and that verry risky

I know several people who installed TII or FC NA (depending their engine) into a late 1st gen tank (84-85) We never got GSL-SE's overhere officially, but our 84-85's are very close, although only 12A powered. So I'd guess the fuel tank of a 12A 84-85 in Europe will be the same as a GSL-SE tank. (larger then earlier models, resulting in "fake" spare wheel, different pick up due to "removable" lines, where as the 79-83 have the lines welded in)
If so, it shouldn't be to hard to use a TII pump in a GSL-SE tank. You'd remove the cover plate with the pick up lines in and replace by the FC cover plate, with th the lines and pump.
I do want to state I have never done that myself, so I cannot say that's true. I only was told this by a person who has a 84-85 bodystyle car with complete FC TII drivetrain and front suspension setup (even the strut towers have been replaced with FC ones!) He claims the FC in-tank pump is an easy fit in late style (84-85) 1st gen tanks. Since he is running a TII engine, he might now what he's talking about
