Throw out bearing pack or no pack

Pack with grease or not? Seems close to the clutch to pack and the haynes manual does give any info. Please let me know if you know. Thanks

What he is saying here is you do not pack the T/o bearing. You put a little grease on the shaft where the bearing slides, and also a dab on each side of the T/o fork where it engages and disengages the bearing.
