i got a 83 rx7 and the throttle cable is messed up. From the the gas pedal its really loose almost all the way too the floor (about 3 inches away). There's even too much slack from where it pulls the carb. I tried adjusting the cable at the carb with the two screws but still too much slack. Please help...

 

cut and put a new end on it. it's not hard. your local auto parts store will have kits setting out in a ilse i bet. they aer universal kits. and easy to install
