throttle body plate

i have a 85 gsl-se and was wondering if anyone has put a longer spacer near the throttle body for more torque, and if so how long can u go before losing power.

Speaking for some knowledge of SE problems and issues here, I don't think anybody has done that.

While it should work, theoretically, I think that most of us are happy just to have the EFI system working correctly!

Let us know what you find if you do this mod,

Haven't tried. But look how long our manifolds are. It wraps around then back again. It's probably optimized and any longer will hurt top end.

get a 2nd gen intake if you want a better one
