NC Thoughts on Rotary Engineering Intake?

I might have an opportunity to purchase a Rotary Engineering Intake. It has Weber 48IDF's on it (I think - I haven't looked at it in person yet).

Any thoughts on these? Is it to be avoided? Would I even want it, and if I do, what would be a fair price? I've never tuned a carb, but figure you've gotta start somewhere. I have a 12a with 78k original miles on it. I still have the original exhaust, etc.

thanks!!!!

I suppose it's one carb. Thanks for the clarification. But to my question, is this intake/carb combination desirable or to be avoided? My engine is otherwise original.

thanks.

Cruising wise, IDF is fine. But if you want something more competitive, 48 IDA or DCO is a better choice.

Maybe you're thinking of the dual DCD set up?

Thanks for the input. It is, for better or worse, gone. Maybe next time. This is what he had.
