Red face Those of you running Fuel Cells. Can you post your pictures?

I'm most likely going to order a 15 Gallon Cell today and want to get a idea of how everyone has been mounting them. Mine will most likely go between the frame rails so that the top sits flush with the rear floor with a Billet Access Panel.

Anyhow, post pictures if you can.

I'm looking to do the same, so also interested if anyone else has done it.

I have however installed a 1 gallon cell in a stripped out civic used for snowcross. It was zip tied to a piece of wood and then screwed to where the passenger seat used to be. Home Depot motor sports represent.

I got a question for ya... If you do it as you say, could you run dual exhaust instead of twin tips?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there would be plenty of room for duals.

Also, the top of the cell sits 1" below the trunk floor.

I had forgotten how phat your ride was.
I feel like it's probably the angle in the first shot that's throwing me off, but ho much lower is it sitting than the rest of the car's belly?
I spy summit racing parts. that's the exact same tank I was looking at. What pump set up is that?
And as for exhaust, side pipes?
I hope I never ever have to race you. Every time I look at those tires it gives me shivers.

Thanks,

The pump sits about the same height as the bottom of the differential. It's the RCI 15 Gallon Tank w/gm sending unit. Pump is the Aeromotive A1000, the filter is also Aeromotive.

Not sure on exhaust yet, my plan is to get this car as quiet as possible since it will be driven mostly on the street.

The more of a sleeper it is, the more people's days you can ruin. Also the less you get pulled over.
I clicked over to your profile, FUN FACT our birthday is on the same day.

Didn't know they made wheel skates that big! Do you ever push your car around real fast and go brap brap?

Yeah, it's a 15 Gallon Tank. I'll have to open the hatch to fill it, the cell will be accessible through a sealed billet door. I'd route it back to where the license plate is but I'll eventually have a shute there so......

yeah, old *** 13bt

The car looks great. I have a single turbo 3rd Gen and I just got my first 1st Gen that I'm getting ready to tear into. This car is a perfect example of how nice a 1st Gen can look. Keep up the good work.

Kind of hard to look like a sleeper when the wheels nearly touch in the middle of the car :P

Looks beautiful, and very mean. Keep it up.
