THINKING of selling the SE...

Now that I found my 3rd gen (been looking forever and didn't think I would find one this soon) I'm thinking of selling my SE. I'm already dumping ALOT of money into the 3rd gen and it looks like my truck is finally gonna sell. I will need a reliable daily driver (not that an SE isn't reliable) and I keep wanting to work on my project car but I only have 1 garage. I can't work on 3 cars in 1 garage . My thought is to possibly sell the SE and truck and get a reliable car that can sit till needed. I feel bad having the SE just sit around... she deserves to be driven and now that I have my dream car (the 3rd gen) she dosn't get any attention

Enough babbling... it's an 85 GSL-SE Black w/ red/marron interior. Interior is amazing and in GREAT shape. The exterior has paint chips missing all over the front (was in colorado for 1 year where they use small rocks instead of salt). No rust it has lived in Arizona almost all it's life (except the 1 year in colorado). It has 99k miles on original engine and drives just fine (after I fixed the idle hehe). JUST got all it's changes done (oil, air, fuel, plugs.. so on) and got a Bonez high flow cat.

Only known problems is the stereo gets all staticy w/ the volume... kindy flakey... like the dial is messed up...
And the oil cooler where the lines connect is cracked alittle (common) and needs to be taken to a welder and welded (just havn't had time ) And the AC compressor is kindy flakey.... donno if it works or just needs charged... I just took off the belt.

I was thinking of asking $2300?... *shrug* If you interested e-mail me. I can provide any pictures you want.

keep it........

Hey dude, IMO it would be a mistake to dump the SE for a "daily driver". I have a 194,000 miles on my SE and it's still pulls like a *****. My mechanic says it's not unusual to get 300k miles on a 13b SE motor, but suit yourself.
