Is it worth all that effort, time, and money to adapt for those wheels? 16" is the largest I would go with wheels for a FB. Anything bigger looks...out of place.

i know they would look cool on my -se tho, thanks for the tip lol
just kidding im not going to bid on them. i think 16's is about as big as i would go on a 1st gen, i had thought about 17's untill i saw some pics and decided its just not for me.
if you do get those and decide to change over to the -se suspension let me know cause i might be parting one of mine out.

as far as adapting to these wheels...i would rather spend $200 for a set of adaptors that open up a huge selection of wheels for sale, which i will probably save, rather than paying top dollar for 4x110 wheels that hardly ever come along.
of course, swapping to gsl-se suspension is another option.
as far as my choice for 16" wheels...since with the proper tire sizing, using 205/40/16 tires would leave the overall diameter the same as a 13, 14, or even a 15. i know that i definately want 40 series tires, so if i were to go any smaller than 16, it would ride way to low to the ground when you factor in lowering springs.
if you go 17, now the overall diameter is bigger than stock, and you start to raise the entire vehicle higher than it should be. unless you can get a smaller than 40 series tire, but you don't usually see 35 series till you hit 18" tires.

I like 'em. Simple and clean.
FWIW I ran Enkeis on Pamela (and plan the same for Carmen) and suddenly people thought I was driving a new car. It's all about finding rims that flatter, rather than contrast with, the FB body style.

Shiny new Savannah badges on the flank help too, but unfortunately my supplier has vanished on me
