Would anyone be interested in purchasing some thin-wall spark plug sockets if I were to make some up? I know Racing Beat wants $60, which is a rediculous price to pay. Anyway, I was thinking of selling them for $20 a piece, shipping included. I'll post a pic once I get one uploaded on the web.

Simply by modifying an existing spark plug socket with a CNC lathe.

Think thats rediculous, check out mazdatrix, they want $90.00. For a damn socket!

 

Ahhhh I see.... hmmm.... looks good... I don't really need one though, as I have a '79 engine, and they don't have the little flange on them that prevents a larger socket to fit over the plug.

I'm sure there will be more people interested in them though...

yeah, NGK makes a long spark plug so you don't need a special tool to get them in or out. But its cool that you are using your skill to make things better. F*@k paying $90.00 for a spark plug socket!

 

For a stock engine, you don't need anything different, however, if you're using a hotter plug for a street-ported engine, or even a carb and exhaust, you'll want a different plug for higher rpm's.
