Are these okay shock absorbers?

Set of four:
"KYB GR-2 shocks to fit 1981 to 1985 Mazda RX-7 all models including GSL and GSL SE." 105usd
Ebay item number: 8007909182
paste into any ebay search dialog to check em out.

Of course, my question is: are these okay shocks for some aggressive street use? the car is used mostly for commuting and lighting fire to twisty roads when the OPP are taking doughnut breaks. My girlfriend (oh yeah, and owner of the car) also wont appreciate having her spleen removed by construction zones...

lastly, theres still a few sets left if i didnt n00b this one up.

I have the KYB GR-2's on my car. My only real complaint with them, the rear are a little soft. When combined with my Tokico springs, that have the rear of the car rather low, I bottom out on larger bumps. This is even more pronounced with a full tank of fuel.
Stock springs have more travel, therefore, the bottoming issue should not be as much of a problem.

Um, it's your GF and it's your car do with it as YOU please sir.

On this board I've not read many good reviews. Most seem to go with tokico HP (blues) me for one or the tokico adj. shocks. Do a search here before you buy.

It depends on what you want.

They are not really performance shocks and are only VERY slightly harder than stock...
They are perfectly fine if you're not looking for anything aggressive and want a nice comfy ride.
As Rogue_Wulff mentioned, stock with stock-type springs if you go this route.

RVP: you missed that part of the first post...
it's her car... im just the mechanic/part time pilot

and the car loves me. Occasionally it will break solely because i spend too much time with my supra and the rx gets jealous. Finally the supra had enough and spun the #1 rod bearing. anyone got a 2jz? i hear theyre 300lbs undressed. beats the hell out of a 650lb 5m-ge
